[He won't say no to that, though it makes him all the more curious about what he has in mind to share with him. He gestures for Metal to lead the way, following after and looking over his shoulder to make sure no one is following.]

In fact once it's finished, it's a very familiar shape.

[It's Moriarty's voice speaking back at him, but it's still Metal's tone...or lack thereof, more accurately.
Also, the creepiest part is there are none of the subtle movements one would expect from an actual human being. No rise and fall of his chest for breathing, no twitch of his hand or shift of his weight at the legs. When he speaks, everything looks normal enough...but as soon as he's stopped speaking that visage isn't human at all. It's too still to the point it's unnatural.]

[His eyes widen - its probably easy to see, now, that they're not all black, almost cloudy, like a stormy sea - and he stares for a long moment. But the shock doesn't last for long, and like a laser he focuses in, moving to walk around the other, looking him up and down.]
If I didn't know it, I'd think a certain power of mine came back. [He murmurs, before reaching out to grab his double's chin and push it upwards, examining like an object at auction.] But the resemblance, yes, is quite uncanny, if you keep up the farce. What a marvelous power you have.

It is not particularly useful for combat purposes. Not directly. [And he sounds just a little disappointed at that; he is able to scheme and plan now, but he really is a brawler at heart.] But it seems even the department recognizes that deception and infiltration also play their part in conflict.
[Then again, even the dumbest person could probably tell them apart right now anyway, considering his behaviour.]

[He lets go of his clone's chin, grinning.]
Now, if you want to impersonate me, which I find a great idea, we'd need to do some training. A disguise can only go as far as you take it. If you don't take it very far, then you'll be in quite a bad spot, dear Sonic.

I would agree with you on that. What if I told you that we could combine infiltration and combat, together, with an ability like this?

[It threw all his enemies off when they thought they were just dealing with Eggman again, so it gave him a lot of leeway to steal all their data as they battled mechs and robots.

But! Anyways. You're on the right track. To pretend to be someone else, and then ambush them...that's quite a powerful tactic if deployed in certain situations. You do a poor job of pretending to be me, though, so...one would need to give you a few tips to at least pass for a moment. Then we could get the drop on anyone we wished.

You're being a bit too sloppy aren't you? My other self. What purpose would an ability like this serve without an adequate means of imitating the target as well? [He stops, hand to his own chin in thought...then he points again.] 2/10.
[The rise and fall of his chest, those little involuntary movements all humans...no, Moriarty himself might make, the more lively face and voice. It's all there now when it once wasn't. That near emotionless Moriarty he was face to face with just a moment ago is all but gone.]

[He doesn't even flinch as the other suddenly turns on the act, moving around him. he stands still observes, dark eyes following him...and not a trace of movement in his expression betrays emotion.]
[And when the other stops, he thinks for a moment, before he snaps his fingers and points directly at his double's face.]
.......I'll give....a 8/10 for that. [No perfect scores, here. Not when he exists.] The attitude, accent, movement, all there. Points off for excessive gesturing and poor explanations of points giving. Otherwise, fine.
